Hummers are here
We have several Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in our yards at present, on their way south to Mexico. For some reason, I'm finding it really hard to photograph them. The shot below is the best I've managed so far.
They're certainly wary of me and the camera. They don't seem to worry about my wife much, though. Perhaps they're more used to her because she's at home all day.
The little buggers are just not very cooperative. A good dash of luck helps.
