I've been trying without success to get better photos of the hummingbirds that are currently busy fighting over our feeders. One problem I'm having is that our House Finches keep taking over the hummingbird feeders. I guess they love that sugar water, too.
That's funny! I've seen woodpeckers attack the hummingbird feeders to get at the "nectar," but never knew finches and other yardbirds would do the same. You learn something new every day!

ReplyDeleteThey love it, Birdwoman. I'm not sure how good it is for them, but we always seem to have a large and healthy group of House Finches around.
